Резиме:
Проблематика творбе речи као значајног елемента морфологије
енглеског језика и вокабулар уопште представљају важну страну
оживљеног интересовања за проучавање лексике, али исто тако
постављају сложене захтеве пред наставу. Управо стога, циљ овог
рада је да допринесе стварању свести о нарастајућем значају
енглеске морфологије и вокабулара. Мноштво извора и материјала,
велики број светски познатих дела из лингвистике и примењене
лингвистике, исходују уверењем о пресудној улози наставе и
наставника. Колико год је дужан да буде адекватно образован и
обучен, наставник мора и да је спреман да пружи све од себе у
циљу задовољавања захтева савременог наставног процеса, у ком се
оживљено интересовање за наставу морфологије и вокабулара јавља
као тековина достигнућа лингвистичких и примењенолингвистичких
истраживања и поновног опредељивања за комуникативно, али сада с
усредсређивањем на оне који уче, на њихова интересовања и снажно
увећане потребе. Интензивиране потребе објашњавају се богатим,
разноврсним, можда најразуђенијим вокабуларом на свету; овим се
подвлачи неопходност усвајања лексике језика који је
недвосмислено већ постао глобално средство комуникације. Одлично
владање језиком, педагошка подобност, способност да се осете и
нагласе културолошки елементи, али и непоколебљива и
неограничена воља – захтеви су које наставник мора да испуни да
би успешно водио своје ученике њиховом, али и свом, жељеном
циљу.

Summary:
The issues of word formation as a significant aspect of the
morphology of English and vocabulary in general are an
important feature of the existing revitalised interest in
vocabulary study, as well as of the complex requirements of the
teaching process in the light of such latest trends. The
awareness of the growing importance of the morphology and
vocabulary of English, an unprecedented mass of sources and
materials treating these fields, in addition to a large number
of well-known works in General Linguistics and Applied
Linguistics, especially those devoting their full contents or
important sections to the most significant features of the
vocabulary of English, reinforce the conclusion of how crucial
the teacher’s role is, his duty to be well educated and
trained while also willing to invest every effort necessary to
meet the requirements of the modern teaching process, opting
for the communicative aspect again but this time focusing on the
learners, their interests and strongly increased needs.
Intensified and still growing needs are also explained by the
continual growth of a vocabulary which already is the richest,
most varied and most copious in the world; this enhances the
necessity of acquiring the lexis of a language that has clearly
become a global means of communication. This, in turn, points
to the issue of choice out of the limitless plenty as the
priority task and a burden that, in the final analysis, again
draw attention to the role of the teacher, with the quality
teacher training being at the heart of the matter. Linguistic
sophistication, pedagogical soundness, cultural sensitivity,
practical skills, together with an unswaying will are required
from the teacher to lead his students to their desired ultimate
goals.
